- You likely know this already, but just in case: a montior has enough voltage
- in its capacitors to kill you. Not injure. Kill. Please put it back
- together if you are not quite sure what you are doing. A 1080 is worth
- taking to a service tech.

- That warning delivered, here's a thought. I haven't opened a 1080 (thanks
- for the focus knob tip! neophytes read above warning though). Consider
- that it might not have been assembled 'upright' and turn it over a few
- times. It was assembled quickly in mass production so there has to be
- some way of disassembling it. A 1080 is probably too old to have and
- snap-together assemblies but look for these too. Try those ideas first.
